Elevating Patterns GmbH has joined the OPEN Community, an initiative to promote open standards and interfaces in the engineering and manufacturing environment.
By joining, Elevating Patterns aims to consistently open up its own digital thread platform for integration with the ecosystem of leading tool and component manufacturers. By using and helping to shape open interfaces within the OPEN Community, the aim is to enable the consistent, interoperable use of engineering and operational data across system and company boundaries.
“Open interfaces are the key to breaking down silos and bringing the digital thread to life in practice. Membership in the OPEN community is a logical step for us in order to work with partners from industry and the software world to use existing standards that promote innovation and efficiency,” says Dr.-Ing. Michael Pfenning, CEO of Elevating Patterns GmbH.
